Weather of Arabia - Interaction continues regarding determining the first day of Eid al-Fitr 2024 between countries that will fast for 29 days and others that will fast during Ramadan for 30 days.

The International Astronomy Center announced that some countries will begin the month of Ramadan on Monday, March 11 , and will observe the Eid crescent on Monday, April 08, while other countries will begin the month of Ramadan on Tuesday, March 12 , and will observe the Eid crescent on Tuesday, April 09.

If the crescent moon is sighted on Tuesday, Wednesday, April 10, will be Eid al-Fitr in those countries, while Thursday, April 11, may be Eid al-Fitr in some other countries.
