Arab Weather - The monitoring stations of the Jordan Meteorological Department recorded extremely low and unusual minimum surface temperatures on Monday morning, 02/24/2025, with the lowest reaching 7.3 degrees Celsius below zero at the Mafraq monitoring station, followed by the Qatraneh monitoring station, which recorded 7 degrees Celsius below zero.
The latest weather forecasts issued by Arab Weather this Monday morning indicate that the Kingdom will be increasingly affected tonight by the polar winds with severe cold, as temperatures will drop to unusual and exceptional levels of cold and will be several degrees below zero degrees Celsius in large areas of the Kingdom, which will lead to severe freezing of wet surfaces in most areas of the Kingdom. It is also not unlikely that the risk of frost formation will reach some areas of the Jordan Valley.
