Experts at the Arab Weather Center indicated that the tropical system is expected to be upgraded to a tropical storm named Asna as it moves west towards the northern Arabian Sea during the next 48 hours, and it will continue to move towards the Sea of Oman with the possibility that its effects will reach some governorates of the Sultanate between Sunday and Monday, September 1 and 2, 2024, and it will be accompanied by the flow of clouds at different altitudes interspersed with cumulonimbus clouds leading to thunderstorms of varying intensity.
