The latest satellite images and analyzes of the National Early Warning Center show, from multiple risks to the continuation of the tropical condition, a tropical storm, centered southwest of the Arabian Sea at latitude 10 north and longitude 58.53 east, and is about 870 km away from the coast of the Sultanate of Oman, and the wind speed around the center is estimated. From 50 km to 63 knots, and the nearest rain clouds accompanying the situation are about 600 km away from the state of Sadah.
The latest forecasts indicate that the tropical condition will continue to move towards the west and northwest towards Dhofar Governorate and Yemen (Al-Mahra Governorate), with chances for the tropical storm to develop into a first-class hurricane during the next 24 hours. It is expected that the direct impact on the Dhofar and Al-Wusta Governorates will begin on Sunday evening. October 22, and the possibility of crossing the center of the situation on Tuesday morning between the Omani governorates of Dhofar and Al-Mahra.
