Urgent | Arab Weather warns of heavy rain and possible torrential rain in Dammam and the whole of Eastern Province this night and Sunday morning

Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The weather forecast staff in Arab weather alerted of the striking developments on the weather maps, which indicate the possibility of Dammam and the eastern region being exposed tonight and Sunday morning to very heavy thunderstorms and possible torrential rain.

In the details, it is expected, God willing, with the hours of Saturday evening and Saturday/Sunday night, that a high-efficiency cold air front will begin to cross the atmosphere of the eastern region of the Kingdom, which will cause a significant intensification in the rainy condition, and the formation of high-strength thunder clouds, which accompanies after God’s will. With heavy rain, which is believed to be the most intense and comprehensive in years, and it is not excluded that it will be accompanied by showers of accumulated hail.

It is expected, God willing, that these rains will be in the form of showers, accompanied by lightning, thunder and strong downward winds.

This weather condition requires warning from:

1- Intensity of thunderstorms accompanying rain clouds

2- The intensity and abundance of rain that may lead to the formation of torrential rains in some areas

3- Intensity of downward winds caused by thunderclouds
