Weather of Arabia - The Libyan Minister of Health announced, on Tuesday evening, that he expects the number of victims of Hurricane Daniel in the city of Radnah to rise to 10,000 and those missing to about 100,000, a catastrophic number that reflects the human tragedy left behind by the devastating Hurricane “Daniel.”

The city of Derna had been exposed to extremely heavy rains, accompanying Storm Daniel, which caused Wadi Derna to flow with unprecedented force, causing dams to collapse and water to rush towards the city, sweeping away vegetables, land, stones, and people with it.

Search efforts are still ongoing for the missing persons, amid dwindling hopes of finding survivors.
