Weather of Arabia - The lens of weather amateurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia monitored this morning, Sunday 2/1/2022, specifically to the east of Hail, the formation of a huge tornado at the bottom of one of the strong cumulus thunderclouds, which resulted from the unstable weather conditions affecting the region.

Fortunately, the tornado formed in an empty desert area away from villages and buildings, and therefore it did not cause any significant damage, thank God.

Such tornadoes are formed during strong instability, require active uplift currents and a difference in wind speed and movement in the perpendicular layers of the atmosphere.
