Weather of Arabia - The official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, revealed that the weather condition witnessed by the Farasan Islands in the Jizan region is known as “high water.” This phenomenon usually occurs due to heavy rainfall and is formed over the sea, which is why it is called a watershed, while its counterpart on land is known as a tornado.
