Weather of Arabia - Burj Khalifa is decorated in the colors of the Omani flag, coinciding with the visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to the UAE.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, received Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of sisterly Oman, who began his visit to the United Arab Emirates today.

Immediately upon the arrival of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq’s convoy to Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, an official reception ceremony took place, where he was received by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The ceremony included traditional artistic performances of Emirati folklore, and a group of knights and hijana saluted the visit of the Sultan of Oman.

After that, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq was brought to the podium of honor, where the national anthem of both the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman was played, and the honor guard received him. In a moment of joy and welcome, artillery fired 21 rounds in salute to the visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, while groups of children chanted: Cheering and raising the national flags of the two countries.
