Arab Weather - Remote sensing systems at the "Arab Weather Regional Center" are monitoring the presence of a deep low pressure system in southern Europe, accompanied by winter weather, rain, snow and low temperatures in those areas, and its effects also extend to parts of the Maghreb countries. Meanwhile, on the other hand, large parts of the Middle East, including the Levant, are witnessing stable weather and warmer than usual temperatures.
Experts at the Arab Weather Center said that this stability in the weather in the Middle East region is the result, God willing, of the distribution of weather systems in the northern hemisphere of the Earth, where what is known as the Rex Block pattern prevails, which is represented by the growth of a strong high-pressure system to the north of the low-pressure system and meets around it, so that the same low-pressure system is forced to remain for several days in the region of southern Europe and Italy, and its effect also extends to the Maghreb.
The results of this distribution in the weather systems in the region will be in the form of an intensification of the high pressure system in all layers of the atmosphere over the Arabian Peninsula, the Levant, and Egypt, and its effect will extend to Turkey and lead to stability in the atmosphere in these regions.
Such a weather system is characterized by stable weather conditions in large areas, with heavy rain and snowfall continuing in many areas of southern Europe for more than a week. In contrast, stable weather and warmer-than-usual temperatures prevail in large parts of the Middle East.
The attached video shows the impact of the "Rex Block" system on the Arab world.
