Arab Weather - A video clip showing a mysterious creature roaming in a park in West Virginia, USA, has aroused the curiosity of local residents and animal experts alike.
Brittany Keller, an American woman, said she saw the strange creature while driving to work on October 24. Her attention was drawn to an unusual animal with dark fur and a long, sloping tail, which was close to a group of deer in Ritter Park in Huntington, the state's second-largest city. Keller told the media:
“When I stopped to look at it closely, I realized I had never seen anything like it in this area before.”
The video Keller captured showed a brown and white creature scurrying through the park. When Keller and the TV station asked locals what the animal was, their responses were filled with confusion.
Keller posted the video on social media, and some people thought the creature might be a lemur. However, Andy McKee of the Zoological Center dismissed that theory, saying lemurs only live in Madagascar, about 9,000 miles from West Virginia, unless the creature was a lost pet.
Mackey explained that the creature looked more like a fox with mange or some kind of skin disease than a lemur. He added that mange, an infectious disease, causes hair loss in furry animals, which could explain the creature's strange appearance.
