Weather of Arabia - Strange scenes of natural phenomena on the land of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, of rock formations carved in an amazing geometric way, by natural factors without human intervention, in a geometric shape with five, six, and heptagonal sides.
Basalt columns were formed in the aftermath of a volcanic eruption in the land of the region. The volcanic lava came out of the ground and flowed like rivers. With exposure to the air, the lava cooled and shrank, and cracked, taking geometric shapes with five, six, and seven sides that astonish those who reach them, and remind them of the greatness of the Creator.
Its height is 2859 meters, above sea level, and the colors of the columns differ according to the mineral and chemical elements present in them, and they are predominantly black, and some tend to be gray and reddish-brown.
The Asir region embraces more than one site for these columns, the most famous of which is Jabal Musharraf in Al-Harjah Governorate, as well as Wadi Al-Asran, and the coastal region between Al-Qahma and Al-Barak.
This phenomenon is spread in a number of parts of the world, such as the Giants Gate on the coast of Ireland, and Yellowstone National Park in the United States, as well as in Turkey and Iceland.
