Video | Sea waves are storming some coastal roads in Muscat now, coinciding with the approach of Hurricane Shaheen

Weather of Arabia - Tweeters circulated on the social networking site Twitter a short while ago a video clip showing the storming of sea waves on the coastal road in Muttrah in the Governorate of Muscat.

The National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards in the Sultanate of Oman had issued an important warning not to go to the sea and to stay away from low-lying areas adjacent to the coast.

The authority attributed the alert to the exposure of some parts of the Sea of Oman to a rise in sea waves, in conjunction with the approach of the tropical situation Shaheen from the coasts of the Sultanate.
