Al-Mu'azib is a common vocabulary word among the Arabs, and is still present in Jordanian folk traditions in many regions, as the word reflects Jordanian hospitality, receiving guests and providing them with the duty of hospitality. From here, the content creator, Shaima Al-Najjar, lived a unique experience that began in the city of Salt, where history is evident. About the Tourism Promotion Authority

The Jordan Tourism Board was established in 1998 as a body with administrative and financial independence, and under a system that aims to take over and unify the Kingdom’s tourism promotion and marketing operations, and work to create demand for the Jordanian tourism product, as tourism promotion has become an urgent necessity in light of the increasing intensity of competition between countries, and the growing importance Economics of the tourism sector.

As part of its marketing plan, the Tourism Board designs and implements an integrated international promotion program whose activities include representation, trade fairs, workshops, traveling exhibitions, familiarization visits, production and distribution of media materials, and public relations.
To emphasize the vital role of tourism, the Authority is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of thirteen members headed by His Excellency the Minister of Tourism, including nine members from the private sector representing hotels, tourism agencies operating in Jordan, and tourist transportation companies.
In order to achieve the important role that tourism plays, the Authority’s Board of Directors, consisting of (13) members, had to be headed by His Excellency the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities. The Board of Directors includes (9) members from the private sector representing the hotel sector, inbound tourism offices, and tourist transportation companies.

City of Salt

This vibrant city is located northwest of the capital, Amman, and rises on three main mountains: Jabal al-Qalaa, Jabal al-Jada’a, and Jabal al-Salam, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The city of Salt has an attractive traditional heritage character that contrasts with the splendor of modernity and contemporaneity in the city of Amman. The city extends over mountain peaks and embraces an authentic community dominated by passion, brotherhood and love. This mountain city has a distinguished history, as Salt was the capital of the Ottoman Empire in the region.

The World Heritage Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) also decided to include the city of Al-Salt, “the city of tolerance and civilized hospitality,” on the World Heritage List.

Castle Mountain

Roman amphitheater
