Weather of Arabia - At dawn this day, the Ruang Volcano area in Indonesia witnessed a majestic event, as the volcano erupted greatly and powerfully, igniting its sparkling lava in the night sky, prompting the authorities to issue urgent warnings of tsunami threats.
Amazing footage was shared by the Disaster Mitigation Agency in Indonesia, showing images of bright lightning crashing over the volcano's crater, while clouds of red smoke and flying lava scattered in the air and fell to the ground.
The agency reported that the height of the eruption column reached three miles, prompting it to urge anyone within the safety zone - which is four miles - to evacuate immediately, while warning of the possibility of "successive explosions."
In a separate alert, the Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation Center (PVMBG) warned residents on Tagulandang Island - closest to the volcano site - of the risk of a tsunami resulting from the collapse of volcanic rocks into the ocean.
These warnings were issued in the early morning of Tuesday, and PVMBG official Hetty Triastuti confirmed that the warnings would remain in place until the afternoon.

In the heart of the “Ring of Fire” and with Indonesia located in an area known for seismic activity, the eruption of the Ruang volcano puts the country on constant alert. Ruang is considered one of about 130 active volcanoes in the country, which increases tensions and fears of possible unrest in the rest of the volcanoes.
In recent days, the eruption of Ruang volcano rained ash, gravel and rocks on towns and cities in the region, including Manado, forcing motorists to use daytime running lights; Due to the dense darkness, according to Julius Ramopoli, head of the observation center at Mount Ruang, the vibrations were very strong, causing power outages and shaking windows and surrounding objects.
The volcanic eruption not only dropped ash, but also flooded several villages with falling debris, and despite clips circulating on social media showing homes burning, there have been no reports of casualties so far.
Ruang Island is located about 60 miles from Manado, the capital of North Sulawesi province, and is home to more than 800 people who have already been evacuated after a series of small eruptions earlier in the month. The eruption coincided with a rise in seismic activity and deep volcanic quakes.
Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado was closed again on Tuesday, due to possible spread of volcanic ash, and the airport is expected to remain closed until Wednesday afternoon.
As the alert level in Rawang rose to the highest level after the early morning eruption, the authorities urged residents not to approach the area. The Rawang volcano eruption comes in light of a series of eruptions that the region witnessed earlier this month, which led to the evacuation of hundreds and some people were damaged. homes, and led to the closure of the airport in Manado.
