Arab Weather - The latest outputs of the numerical weather models processed by the Arab Weather Center indicate expectations of fog formation during the late night hours of Tuesday/Wednesday night in several areas of the eastern plains and the desert, and until the late morning hours of Wednesday.
Starting tonight, Tuesday/Wednesday night, temperatures will drop and very cold weather will prevail in all regions, with frost likely to form in parts of the desert, the eastern plains, and the peaks of the southern highlands during the dawn and early morning hours.
There is a significant increase in surface humidity levels, which creates a chance for fog to form in several areas of the eastern plains and the Badia, including the Zizia area and Queen Alia International Airport. It is not unlikely that the fog will be dense and cause horizontal visibility to drop to less than 500 meters, especially in the early morning, and it includes parts of the desert road leading from the capital Amman to the south of the Kingdom and sometimes reaches inside some cities.
On Wednesday morning, the weather will be very cold and foggy in several areas of the eastern plains and the desert. The fog will gradually disappear over time, i.e. during the late morning hours, but temperatures will tend to rise slightly for the rest of the day, remaining 2-4 degrees Celsius below average. Unstable weather conditions will prevail in the afternoon, and the weather will be cold and partly to mostly cloudy with rain and hail showers, God willing, in the north and center of the Kingdom.
And God knows best.
