Arab Weather - The weather maps processed by the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate that active westerly to northwesterly winds will blow over most areas of the Levant Desert, northern Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. The winds will be accompanied by strong gusts exceeding 80 km/h, which will lead to the formation of dense dust waves on Thursday, God willing.
Active to strong westerly winds will blow over Iraq, especially during the daytime hours of Thursday, in many regions, especially the western regions. They will cause dust waves and dense sandstorms to move to many northern regions in Saudi Arabia and Iraq, specifically northern Anbar, where the weather will be dusty and there will be a significant decrease in horizontal visibility, which may reach the point of non-existence.
As the region is affected by a very cold air mass at the beginning of next week, the weather forecasting staff at the Arab Weather Center warns of the possibility of the aforementioned areas being renewed with dense dust waves at the beginning of next week when the region is affected by a polar air mass of very cold origin, which pushes at its forefront active and cold winds.
And God knows best.
