Arab Weather - Some residents of Jordan, Syria and Palestine felt an earthquake in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Seismological Observatory reported that an earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale was recorded in northern Syria at 11:55 p.m., at a depth of 10 kilometers, and was felt by residents of Jordan. The earthquake struck different areas in Syria with the same magnitude.
In Damascus, most residents of the Syrian governorates, especially in Homs, Hama, Damascus and its countryside, felt the earthquake. The Syrian Seismological Center also recorded a 5.5-magnitude earthquake east of Hama city at 11:56 p.m.
