Weather in the Levant and Egypt:

Mild summer weather in all regions and pleasant, damp nights

• Temperatures are expected to be slightly higher for this time of year on Monday .
• The summer weather is mild in different parts, while it is hot in the lowlands and desert areas .
• It is expected that the maximum temperatures will be recorded in the coastal parts in the early thirties, while they will be in the early thirty degrees Celsius in Jerusalem and Amman, in the middle of the thirty degrees Celsius in Damascus, and in the late thirties in the Egyptian capital, Cairo .
• With the late night hours and dawn, the weather is expected to be generally pleasant and low clouds will appear, especially in the coastal and mountainous parts .
• Fog formation opportunities will continue on the areas near the coasts overlooking the Mediterranean Sea at dawn on Tuesday, including south of Alexandria, south of Marsa Matrouh and Port Said .

• Cold winds blow on the southern coasts of the Kingdom of Morocco, known as the seasonal "Canary Stream", bringing with them low clouds and light fog during the coming days.
• Heavy seasonal thunderstorms fall in the far south of Algeria and Mauritania, which sometimes cause torrential rains and floods .

• Extremely hot weather is expected in parts of California, in the vicinity of Los Angeles, and in parts of the states of Nevada, in the vicinity of Las Vegas, and in Arizona, in the vicinity of Phoenix, where temperatures are expected to touch the mid-40s on Sunday and Monday .
• An air depression and a cold air front cross the Canadian regions of Ontario and Quebec, bringing with it thunderstorms and significant wind speed activity .
• Very heavy rains in southern Pakistan, with a high chance of torrents and floods, including the city of Karachi .
