The eastern basin of the Mediterranean is affected by a moderate air mass from Sunday to Tuesday, where a moderate spring atmosphere prevails in the coasts of Libya and northern Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, where temperatures are lower than their annual averages for such time of year.

The opportunity will also be ripe for showers of rain on northern Syria, the Syrian coast, all Lebanese regions, northern Palestine, and less sharply north of Jordan on Tuesday.

Arabia and Iraq

Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia and Yemen remain under the influence of a very hot air mass throughout the week, but temperatures drop in both northern Saudi Arabia and the high mountainous elevations of southwestern Saudi Arabia and the highlands of Yemen, where temperatures are between relatively hot and moderate during the day. At night it will be cold.

As of Monday evening, Iraq will be affected by unstable weather conditions in the north, west and center of the country, as a result of which thunderstorms will fall, including the capital, Baghdad, in conjunction with a decrease in temperatures as the weather continues to be hot in general.

Sudan and the Horn of Africa

Rainy thunder clouds form on a daily basis in large areas of southern Sudan and parts of Somalia, and the weather is hot in all Sudanese regions, including the capital Khartoum, while the weather is more moderate in Somalia, especially on the coasts overlooking the Indian Ocean.
