The Asir region brings together its lovers to celebrate the summer season with an enchanting atmosphere and various events suitable for families and individuals alike. Visitors can enjoy the picturesque nature, from the towering mountain peaks to the Tihamian plains, in addition to the coastal beaches and desert nature.

The season includes many recreational, cultural and sporting activities to take full advantage of the tourist area’s potential, which the Asir Development Authority has worked to prepare and activate for visitors.

• Concerts

The season will witness the holding of concerts on the largest theater in the southern region with a capacity of 16,000 seats, with the participation of the most prominent male and female artists in the Arab world, starting from July 5 until August 16.

• Entertainment activities and games

The 2024 Asir Summer season offers many activities and interactive artistic performances, such as circus, comedy, aerial and musical shows, which add an atmosphere of fun and excitement to visitors.

• Historical sightseeing tours

Visitors can join tours in the village of Al-Muftaha, the palaces of Abu Faraj and Basta, the palaces of Al-Asabila, the village of Ben Addan, the historic market of Deirtna and Tabab to explore the rich heritage of the region.

• Sports events

The Asir Development Authority has prepared a group of distinctive sports and adventure events, such as Hosak, Nafas, and Battle Kart events, which combine the spirit of fun sports with the charming geographical nature.

Popular markets such as the Tuesday Market, the Women's Market, and the Dagger Market are among the most prominent features of local heritage, as they give visitors the opportunity to learn about and shop for handicrafts and traditional products.

Visitors can explore the cultural and artistic heritage of Abha through an organized tour, which includes a visit to the Fatima Museum, Al-Muftaha Village, Tuesday Market, a grape farm, and the High City.
