Widespread fires in California

Weather of Arabia - Hot and dry winds in the US state of California caused a massive fire, which civil defense teams described as the most destructive and widespread in the state's history on Monday.

The fires started on Sunday/Monday night, while dry and strong easterly winds on Monday spread the fires widely in Napa County, northern California.

According to civil defense reports in the state, at least one person was killed, at least 60 people were injured, and at least 1,500 homes were lost.
