Will it rain again in Makkah in the coming days?

Arab Weather - The latest computer simulation results at the Arab Weather Center indicate that many of the southwestern and western regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will remain under the influence of unstable weather conditions accompanied by thunderstorms during the coming days, as a result of the continued flow of tropical moisture into the Kingdom's atmosphere, accompanying the advance of the imaginary tropical belt ITCZ to the south of the Arabian Peninsula.

The latest weather maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate that cumulonimbus clouds are expected to increase again in the afternoon and evening hours during the remaining days of August, and they will be represented in several parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and Madinah Al-Munawwarah, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, which will lead to the flow of valleys and ravines.

It is also not unlikely that some thunderclouds will extend to scattered parts of Hail, Qassim, and the north and northwest of the Riyadh region administratively, accompanied by some rain showers.

Does the rain include the Holy Capital?

As a result of the activity of the eastern winds in the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere, it is expected, God willing, that the thunderclouds formed above the highlands earlier in the day will continue to move westward, so that the chances of rain on the holy sites will increase again during the evening hours, especially at the end of this week, accompanied by lightning and thunder.

It is worth noting that the Holy Capital witnessed thunderstorms on Tuesday evening, and the media team at the Arab Weather Center monitored tweeters circulating on the (X) platform about the rain falling in the Grand Mosque.
