And it was famous for what is called the period of Saudis, which is divided into four Sauds, each of which lasts (12.5) twelve and a half days, and it is as follows:

1. Saad Al-Dabih from January 30 to February 11.
2. Saad Swalla from February 11 to February 23.
3. Saad Al-Saud from February 24 to March 8.
4. Saad Al-Khabaya from March 8 to March 20.

The reason for its popularity is the story of the shepherd Saad:

It is said that a young man named "Saad" was a shepherd and he decided to travel and it was a warm, sunny day in the winter season. Saad thought that the winter was over, and his father and the elders of his village advised him to carry with him what he warms himself from the cold, whether from fur or firewood However, Saad ignored the advice and did not listen to their words and advice, and he took his camel and the sheep and began his journey with grazing and headed outside his village.

The weather surprised “Saad” in the middle of the road, as it became very cold, so heavy rain and snow fell, and the bitter cold became more severe, and Saad had no choice but to slaughter his camel that he owned to protect its fur and her insides from the severe cold.

And this period during which Saad slaughtered his camel was called “Saad al-Dabih,” and it is also a metaphor for the severity of the cold, and its days are described as the coldest, and it was said during it (Saad slaughtered, a dog who barked, peasants who fell, and his shepherd was not released).

Then followed the "Saad Swallow" period, in which Saad ate the flesh of his camel that he slaughtered, and the rain fell on it and quickly swallowed it up, so it was called by the metaphor that the land swallows up rain water quickly and that the shepherd Sa`d ate the meat of his camel, and it was said (Saad swallowed the water) And gulp).

And followed by the "Saad Al-Saud" period, where the sun rose at that period after the storm, and Saad was happy for his escape, and when Saad wanted to cut tree branches to light the fire for warmth, he found water running in them, so it was called a metaphor for Saad’s happiness for his survival, and because the water walks in the planting tree, And it was said in it (Saad Al-Saud brings water into the oud and warms up every coolant).

As for "Saad Al-Khabaya", it is the last period of the winter quintet, when snakes and other animals that were in the winter hibernation period start to leave the ground, and the female youths escape with it due to the wonderful moderate atmosphere of this period, and it was said in it (Saad Al-Khabaya looks alive and breaks down the girls).
According to meteorologists, the spring equinox for this year 2021 falls on March 20, and some countries celebrate this day with the so-called `` Nowruz Festival '', and this day equals the length of the day with the length of the night, as well as the sunrise for the first time in the Arctic after night 6 months long.
And starts setting sun for the first time in Antarctica after a day of 6 months.

Borrowers:

The period of quintet is interspersed with the so-called `` days of borrowers, '' which are 7 days, the last 4 days of February, and the first 3 days of March, and are marked by extreme coldness.

As for her story, according to the folklore, it goes back to an old woman who had six sheep who went out to graze with her in a valley during the last days of February, during which it did not rain and the weather was warm, so the old woman began to repeat with joy, "February passed the mess and he took from me neither an ewe nor a harness, and he hit us on the back." Balmkhabt: "He heard her speech, February, and was angry at her words and felt insulted. He went to his brother in the month of March and sought help from the old woman and said," Oh Adar, my cousin, three of you and four of me, let the old woman in the valley sing. "

It rained abundantly during these days, the borrowers, and the valleys flowed, the torrent swept away the old sheep, and the old woman cried, sadly, "Oh flood, they made their mark on their slips, so that they could throw them at them."
