Arab Weather - A tornado (or funnel cloud) is a violent air storm that takes the form of a funnel or tube extending from a cumulonimbus cloud to the Earth's surface. A tornado is characterized by strong winds that revolve around a very narrow center, causing great destruction in a relatively small area.

Tornadoes occur when warm, moist air meets cold, dry air, creating turbulence in the atmosphere and strong updrafts. These updrafts can cause the air to spin very rapidly, creating what is known as a tornado.

Tornadoes occur in different parts of the world, but the most affected area is the "Tornado Alley" in the United States.
