Arab Weather - Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) is a pattern of atmospheric oscillation that occurs in tropical regions, and includes the movement of areas of storm activity and convection (upward air currents) from west to east across the Indian and Pacific Oceans. This oscillation occurs at intervals ranging from approximately 30 to 60 days.
