Arab Weather - The weather phenomenon that is represented by a sudden and sharp drop in temperatures, accompanied by heavy rains and strong winds, is known as a cold front.
A cold front occurs when relatively cool, dry air moves in to replace warm, moist air, causing the two air masses to collide. This collision causes the warm air to rise rapidly, causing water vapor to condense and form cumulonimbus clouds, which sometimes produce heavy rain and thunderstorms. Cold fronts are also characterized by strong winds and a noticeable chill after they pass.
