It is an invisible natural phenomenon, which represents the movement of air in the atmosphere that is produced by differences in atmospheric pressure values, and air usually moves from a region of high atmospheric pressure to a region of low atmospheric pressure.

The wind movement has two forms:

Vertical: the movement of winds upwards towards the upper layers of the atmosphere due to the high temperature of the air that expands upward in the form of upward air currents, as is the case in the tropics.

Horizontal: the movement of winds is horizontal in the upper layers of the atmosphere or near the surface of the earth, and an example of this is the trade winds.
