ArabiaWeather.com - Dry ice is carbon dioxide in the solid state at minus 0.78°C. And its direct transformation from the solid state to the gaseous state at normal atmospheric pressure makes it an effective means of refrigeration, especially since it is colder than ice and does not leave wet traces behind.
How is dry ice made?
The carbon dioxide that is generated in the alcoholic fermentation processes is taken and filled by pressure in the form of a liquid and kept in iron cylinders, then bags are attached at the position of the cylinder nozzle. Known as dry ice, it is used to cover ice cream and foods to be frozen.
