Among its heritage landmarks, Kairouan is famous for the Great Mosque known as the Uqba Ibn Nafi Mosque, the House of Wisdom, the National Museum of Islamic Arts, the Mosque of the Three Gates, the city walls and its many doors, in addition to the shrines and shrines of a number of honorable companions.
