Saudi Arabia | Riyadh without a dust or sand storm or raised dust during July for the second year

Weather of Arabia - The Regional Center for Dust and Sand Storms revealed that, for the second year in a row, Riyadh did not witness any dust or sand storms or raised dust during the month of July 2024 AD.

The center indicated that the percentage of cases of dust, sand, and dirt storms in Riyadh decreased by 100% during the month of last July.

Reasons for the decrease in dust or sand storms and dust are raised during the month of July

The Regional Center for Dust and Sand Storms explained that this decrease is due to several reasons, including:

1. Increased rainfall rates
2. And the efforts of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture to preserve vegetation
3. In addition to the programs of the Saudi Green Initiative.
